Morgan Rogers offered a glimpse of his talents with a wonderful goal for West Bromwich Albion’s U18s – does a Championship debut beckon?

West Bromwich Albion have produced some very promising young talents in recent years. Unfortunately, however, many of them left the Hawthorns before they were ever given a chance from Kemar Roofe and Chris Wood to Romaine Sawyers and Ashley Williams.
And it remains to be seen whether Morgan Rogers ever goes on to establish himself as a fixture in The Baggies’ first-team.
He certainly has a long way to go, given that he is still playing for West Brom’s U18s. But a stunning individual goal in a 5-1 thrashing of Lincoln City on Tuesday night has certainly got fans talking and predicting a bright future for Rogers in navy and white.

Rogers was the standout player throughout against The Imps, marauding through the visitors’ defence at every opportunity, showcasing his quick feet, balance and the end product that already appears to be making him stand out at such a young age.
And with Darren Moore bringing a more expansive and free-flowing style of football to West Brom after years of stifling pragmatism under Tony Pulis, more moments of magic like this should stand Rogers in good stead.
