West Bromwich Albion and Crystal Palace have been linked with Ligue 1 hotshot Karl Toko Ekambi, as have Premier League rivals Everton and Brighton.

West Brom and Crystal Palace appear to be shopping in the same markets in search of a centre-forward to save their Premier League status.
Both the Baggies and the Eagles have been linked with Khouma Babacar, Diafra Sakho and Oumar Niasse of late. And it seems as if the pursuit of another striker reportedly on the radar of Alan Pardew and Roy Hodgson is about to hot up.

And things have just got interesting with FootMercato claiming that the Ligue 1 strugglers have rejected an offer of around £14 million from an unnamed English club for the Cameroonian international.
Ekambi has been in superb form for Angers this season, with 10 goals in 19 league appearances for a side stuck in the relegation zone with just three wins to their name.
And it would be no surprise to learn that the big-money bid has come from either Selhurst Park or The Hawthorns, with both clubs keen to add a reliable goal-scorer to their ranks as they aim to pull clear of relegation danger.

France Football linked Everton with Ekambi too but, after the signing of Cenk Tosun and with Theo Walcott set to join, it appears unlikely that the £14 million offer would have come from Goodison Park.
Interestingly, Ekambi rejected Brighton in the summer despite the Seagulls being willing to quadruple his wages. Brighton still need an alternative to Glenn Murray so they cannot be discounted as things stand.
