What a time it is to be a Wolves fan. Backed by Chinese billionaires, and with one of the world’s most influential agents working on their behalf, the Old Gold have stormed back into the Premier League with arguably the most talented set of players England’s second tier has ever seen.

According to Get French Football News, Wolves have emerged as a potential destination for the rapid Portugal winger this summer. PSG need to sell in order to avoid Financial Fair Play sanctions and the door has just opened for Wolves with Guedes’ permanent move to Valencia, who he starred for on loan last season, on the rocks.
PSG will demand £39 million for the former Benfica prodigy. And Wolves could actually afford that.
But who is Guedes? Well, he was perhaps Valencia’s standout performer in their best La Liga campaign in years. He is, according to some, the closest thing Portugal have to a new Cristiano Ronaldo.
Guedes, in short, is a world-class attacker in waiting. No wonder the fans are pinching themselves.
