If Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich are willing to sell Thiago Alcantara, Premier League giants Liverpool shouldn’t hesitate to bring him to Anfield.

Bayern Munich have a problem all of their own making.
The Bundesliga champions’ CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has admitted that they probably have a few too many midfielders and he may have a point. Established internationals like Javi Martinez, Sebastian Rudy and Corentin Tolisso all made less than 20 league starts in 2017/18.
But could that see Thiago Alcantara be made available this summer?

Rummenigge insists that the former Barcelona star is still in Bayern’s plans – but has still refused to rule out letting go of a player who The Sun believe is a transfer target for both Manchester clubs, United and City.
But what about Liverpool?
Yes, The Reds have already paid big money to sign both Naby Keita and Fabinho this summer to overshadow the departure of Emre Can but Jurgen Klopp’s midfield is certainly higher on energy than it is on creativity.

Thiago, however, is one of the best playmakers in European football, a regular starter for Spain and Bayern when fit. And though he is a different kind of player to Nabil Fekir and Thomas Lemar, he could still replicate the creative spark Philippe Coutinho provided in the centre of the park.
As reported by Sport, Thiago is valued at around £45 million. And, in the eyes of Liverpool fans, what a signing this would be.
