West Brom were keen on Eder in the summer and now Serie A giants Inter Milan are keen to sell, prompting a bid from Premier League outfit Crystal Palace

West Brom could only wish to be in the market for a £20 million striker these days. As reported by the Express and Star, the Baggies are unable to even sign Troy Deeney this month with Financial Fair Play limiting their spending power.
Fortunately, however, one player West Brom were keen to land in the summer has just become available at exactly the time when Alan Pardew is desperate to add more firepower to his side.
And it appears that he could be signed for a rather affordable price-tag.

According to Calciomercato, the Baggies were keen on Inter Milan’s Brazilian-born Italy international Eder during the summer transfer window and, just six months later, a move to England is on the cards for the 30-year-old.
And while the fleet-footed schemer is surely worth far more in today’s market, Inter are desperately hoping to raise funds to finance a deal for Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge and are willing to sell Eder to the highest bidder.

The former Sampdoria favourite has not started a single Serie A game all season under Luciano Spalletti and, along with reported West Ham target Joao Mario, is one of the players Inter are hoping to cash in on.
Eder is not an out-and-out goal-scorer but his intelligence, ability to find pockets of space and link play with skill and vision would offer a different dimension to a predictable and wing-heavy West Brom attack.
Although that is not to say his tally of eight Serie A goals last season is unimpressive either.
