The prospect of Samu Saiz working with Marcelo Bielsa at Elland Road has Leeds United fans thrilled.

It’s official. Leeds United might just have pulled off the most remarkable managerial coup anywhere in England this year.
Bielsa is one of the most influential tacticians in world football, the man who inspired Pep Guardiola and Mauricio Pochettino and turned Chile, Bilbao and Marseille into some of the most attractive teams on the planet.
Did we mention he is following Paul Heckingbottom?

And the Leeds team that takes to the field for the first game of the 2018/19 season could be absolutely unrecognisable. Bielsa, or ‘El Loco’, has a very specific style of play and will not be afraid to make changes to his squad with a whole host of players tipped to depart already.
Leeds fans, however, will be hoping that Samu Saiz is not one of them. The Spanish play-maker is arguably the most gifted player in Leeds’ squad, although his technical skills were overshadowed last season by erratic performances, silly suspensions and a perceived attitude problem.

Do not be surprised to see Saiz and Bielsa butt heads. But if anyone is going to help the Leeds man realise his full potential, it is Bielsa.
