Wolverhampton Wanderers are reportedly interested in signing Marcos Rojo from Premier League giants Manchester United.

Almost everything Nuno Espirito Santo has touched has turned to gold since he was appointed the new manager of Wolverhampton Wanderers in 2017.
Wolves obliterated all in their path en route to the Championship title last season while the vast majority of the new players who have arrived at Molineux during his tenure have been a roaring success. This summer, the additions of Rui Patricio and Joao Moutinho threaten to take the club to a new level again.
In fact, since Nuno started working with Jorge Mendes, the closest thing Wolves have come to a flop is the ill-fitting £2.5 million defender Roderick Miranda. But surprise links with Manchester United centre-back Marcos Rojo represent what would perhaps be the riskiest deal since the former Valencia and Porto boss arrived.
According to The Independent, Wolves are interested in taking advantage of Manchester United’s defensive overhaul by landing the Argentine international, who moved to Old Trafford from Sporting Lisbon two years ago for £16 million.

28-year-old Rojo might be an experienced defender with 59 international caps but the fact that many United fans would happily drive him to Molineux speaks volumes. Not only has Rojo struggled with injuries at times, he retains that unhelpful penchant for silly challenges and galling lapses of discipline or concentration.
Getting the best out of Rojo would perhaps be Nuno’s biggest challenge yet – and he’d be the biggest risk of the Mendes reign too.
