Everton winger Nikola Vlasic is reportedly a transfer target for Premier League outfit Newcastle United.

It seems there are two schools of thought as Newcastle United reportedly discuss signing Everton winger Nikola Vlasic on loan, as reported by The Mail.
Some supporters are intrigued by the prospect of landing an exciting young winger with plenty of potential. Vlasic, who cost The Toffees £10 million a year ago, is quick and creative, potentially offering plenty of attacking spark and a man to fill that tricky number 10 position.
And a loan deal would mean a Newcastle side who aren’t exactly flushed with cash could land him without spending a penny. Low risk, potentially high rewards.

On the other hand, the more cynical members of The Magpies’ fanbase aren’t exactly thrilled by the prospect of a loan deal for a player who was trusted to start just seven league games for a massively underachieving Everton side last season.
Are Newcastle really so short of cash that they need to resort to lending seldom-seen 20-year-olds from their Premier League rivals? If you look at it this way, signing Vlasic on loan would rather sum up the problems at St James’ Park.
To leave this on a positive note, however, Vlasic is an exciting talent who the Everton fans rate very highly. After the success of Kenedy last season, the fleet-footed Croatian could have a similar impact.
