Scottish Premiership giants Rangers may struggle to keep Alfredo Morelos at Ibrox but rescuing Louis Moult from Preston North End would be key.

After three months and just six Championship appearances, Louis Moult could already be about to leave Preston North End.
The Lilywhites appeared to have pulled off an excellent deal when they announced the signing of the Scottish Premiership’s top scorer ahead of the January transfer window, signing the striker from Motherwell for just £500,000.
But Moult has struggled so far at Deepdale, failing to score in six games and unable to step into the boots of departed talisman Jordan Hugill.
And according to the Mail, the former Stoke City youngster is open to a quick return to Scotland with Rangers – who were heavily linked last summer before signing Mexican Eduardo Herrera instead – understood to be keeping a close eye on the situation.

Despite his inability to make an impact at Preston, Moult could be a fine addition at Rangers. And, if he does arrive at Ibrox at long last, the Glasgow giants could solve the biggest problem facing them this summer – replacing Alfredo Morelos.
Colombian hit man Morelos may have only signed a new contract until 2021 earlier this month after being heavily linked with a move to China, but the Star claimed this was more about enhancing his wages rather than committing his future to the club.

It is understood that Morelos realised that staying in Glasgow rather than moving to the Far East would give him the best possible chance of attaining a dream move to the Premier League.
But if Rangers do cash in on their 17-goal top scorer, who better to replace him than the proven, prolific Moult?
