Tottenham and Arsenal sent scouts to watch Red Bull Salzburg in the Europa League with reported Leeds United target Moanes Dabour in action.

Liverpool duo Sadio Mane and Naby Keita are not the only huge talents who have emerged from the Salzburg branch of the Red Bull football group in the last few years.
The prolific Israeli striker Moanes Dabour is in fantastic form right now in Austria and it would be a big surprise if he is still plying his trade in one of Europe’s smallest leagues this time next year.
Salzburg are eight points clear of Sturm Graz at the top of the T-Mobile Bundesliga and, after beating Borussia Dortmund over two legs, are into the quarter-finals of the Europa League.
Much of their success this season is down to Dabour, the Austrian league’s 16-goal top scorer who has scored 20 times in all competitions this season.

So, with all due respect to Leeds United, the chances of one of Europe’s hottest strikers heading to Elland Road in the summer looks remote. Per The Mail in November, Leeds were tracking the seven-cap international with a view to bringing him to West Yorkshire.
But, since then, Dabour has gone from strength to strength and his performances in the Europa League in particular have surely caught the eye of clubs doing a little better than the side currently 13th in England’s second tier.

If sides of Spurs and Arsenal’s stature take a shine to Dabour, Leeds would surely be blown out of the water if they were still planning a move for the striker.
Perhaps, with Leeds seriously lacking attacking depth, they should have made their move in January when Dabour was still a relative unknown outside of Austria.
