Championship side West Bromwich Albion are reportedly interested in signing Danny Batth from Premier League newcomers Wolverhampton Wanderers.

After just one unsuccessful season in English football, Roderick Miranda’s career at Wolverhampton Wanderers could be over already.
The £2.5 million defender, who joined from Rio Ave last summer, has moved to Greek Superleague giants Olympiakos on a season long loan after tumbling down the pecking order at Molineux. Struggling to deal with the physicality of the British game, Miranda did not start a single Championship game in 2018.
But does this move have an impact on West Brom’s summer plans?
Despite agreeing a fee to sign Kyle Bartley, West Brom need another centre-back with Jonny Evans gone, Gareth McAuley released and Ahmed Hegazi likely to leave thanks to a £10 million release clause in his contract.

The prospect of Leeds selling fans’ favourite Pontus Jansson to a promotion rival, via Expressen, seems unlikely. So Batth appears to be a realistic target.
But with no new centre-backs arriving yet at Wolves this summer, it would be an odd decision for the Black Country side to let Batth now after already bidding farewell to Miranda.
West Brom, then, may be forced to wait patiently to see whether the likes of Alfie Mawson or Wallace end up at Molineux.
