Two Scottish Premiership games and two defeats for Lee Hodson since he joined St Mirren from Glasgow Rangers.

There were few tears shed when Lee Hodson left Rangers for a loan spell at St Mirren in the summer.
In two years at Ibrox, the Northern Ireland international had made just 17 Scottish Premiership appearances, with the excellent James Tavernier firmly established as the first-choice right-back at Ibrox.
With new signing Jon Flanagan more at home on the right side, Rangers now have a more solid and versatile alternative, too.
And, given that Hodson is out of contract next year, and is on loan at St Mirren for the whole campaign, do not be surprised if it transpires that he has played his last game for the Glasgow giants.
Hodson needs to have one hell of a season in Paisley in order to save his Rangers career. And it is fair to say it has not started well.

The 26-year-old has started two Scottish Premiership games for St Mirren so far and has lost both – 2-0 at home to Livingston and 4-1 away at Hearts. The Buddies are currently second from bottom and have already sacked manager Alan Stubbs.
So Rangers’ decision to let Hodson go looks to have been justified already. Like Harry Forrester, Michael O’Halloran, Fabio Cardoso and co, his exit shows that Rangers are no longer accepting mediocrity.
