Premier League giants Spurs have reportedly offered Llorente to Bordeaux – possibly helping Scottish Premiership outfit Rangers keep Alfredo Morelos.

Steven Gerrard is doing his best to keep Alfredo Morelos at Rangers.
According to Sky Sports, Bordeaux made a £3.75 million bid for the Colombian striker on Thursday – but Gerrard is determined to play hard ball.
“It’s the right decision to reject it, it’s nowhere near high enough. It’s a player we don’t want to sell and have no ambitions to,” the former Liverpool captain told Sky Sports.
“For me, I want him to stay. I want him to sign a new deal on improved terms and help the rest of us be successful moving forward.”
Don’t expect Bordeaux to give up this easily, however. The 2009 Ligue 1 champions are crying out for a new centre-forward and have plenty of money to play with after the £36.5 million departure of Malcom to Barcelona.
So Rangers’ best hope for a quiet fortnight until the end of August could rest on the future of Fernando Llorente.

According to Info Mercato, Tottenham Hotspur have offered their £12 million striker to Bordeaux in the hope that the Spaniard will leave either on loan or on a permanent basis. And should Les Girodins sign the 33-year-old Spaniard, Rangers’ chances of holding onto Morelos will obviously be boosted.
Llorente is a more experienced and proven goalscorer, having lead the line for Athletic Bilbao, Juventus and Swansea. On paper, then, the chance to sign him could turn Bordeaux’s sights away from Ibrox.
