Scottish Premiership champions Celtic could offer a chance to one-time Crystal Palace prodigy Reise Allassani this month.

Reise Allassani may be playing in the seventh tier of English football, but a tally of 17 goals in 16 games is impressive in any division.
As such, it appears unlikely that the 22-year-old will be playing his football for Dulwich Hamlet in the Isthmian League for much longer. Because the Independent states that Allassani’s prolific goal-scoring form has attracted the interest of much bigger clubs, including Celtic.
And while the one-time Crystal Palace wonder-kid, who was tipped to follow in the footsteps of Wilfried Zaha and Victor Moses, may be seen as something of a risky signing given that he is playing non-league football at the age of 22, Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has history when it comes to jump-starting stalled careers.
Just ask Scott Sinclair, Stuart Armstrong and Scott Brown.

Allassani is an aggressive and uncompromising centre-forward who leads the line with real ferocity. And that is without mentioning a goal tally that would turn even the very best strikers green with envy.
But could Rodgers turn this raw talent into the star he was supposed to be when turning heads as a youngster with Crystal Palace?

It is hard to tell. Allassani, after all, had never played senior football before making his debut for Dulwich away to Staines Town in October and better players than him have failed to reach the top level after suffering mental and physiological blows like the devastating knee injury that set Allassani back a year in 2016.
But if there is any manager Allassani should put his trust in, it is Brendan Rodgers.
