Celtic have already signed Jack Hendry from Scottish Premiership rivals Dundee and want midfielder Glen Kamara too this summer.

Dundee are 10th in the 12-team Scottish Premiership table so it is perhaps a surprise that Celtic are trying to sign a second player from Dens Park within the space of half a year.

After much haggling, Celtic landed centre-back Jack Hendry in January for £1.5 million. And, according to the Scottish Sun, 22-year-old midfield powerhouse Glen Kamara is also on their radar, the £1 million-rated Finland international thriving in Scotland since being released by Arsenal a year ago.

But should there be a third Dundee starlet on the champions’ radar as the summer transfer window comes into view?

Three from one?

Mark O’Hara, like Hendry and Kamara, has enjoyed a superb breakthrough season at Dundee. The 22-year-old has always been viewed as a player with promise but has taken a major step up this season, netting four times in 31 league appearances.

He even scored twice in a 2-1 win against Rangers back in November and helped his side keep a clean sheet at Celtic Park last month.

And, interestingly, the Evening Telegraph report that O’Hara could leave Dundee on a free this summer with his contact due to expire, despite talks over a new deal beginning all the way back in January.

O’Hara would obviously not be ready to walk immediately into Celtic’s first team but he has the talent and potential to develop further under Brendan Rodgers. Furthermore, his versatility and ability to play in defence or midfield would give The Hoops more options in at least two roles.

For now, however, Celtic’s priority seems to be his Dundee team-mate Kamara.
