Aston Villa are keen to raid their Championship rivals Queens Park Rangers for Massimo Luongo, reports that should have Henri Lansbury worried.

Henri Lansbury’s first full season as an Aston Villa player has not quite gone to plan.
But after making 18 league appearances without scoring a goal for Villa in the second half of last season, this campaign has gone even worse. Lansbury might have missed two months with a hamstring injury but, even when fully fit, does not seem to be in Steve Bruce’s first-team plans.

With Glenn Whelan, Conor Hourinhane and Birkir Bjarnason all ahead of him in the pecking irder, the former Arsenal youngster has made just eight Championship appearances all season – just five of those coming from the start.
And if Aston Villa pull off what would be an excellent summer deal, life could be about to get even tougher for Lansbury.

The Socceroos star is in the form of his life right now with six league goals to his name from midfield and has the ability to control a game from the centre of the park while providing the precise distribution that Lansbury is often accused of lacking.
All the signs right now are suggesting that a summer departure for Lansbury would be best for all parties.
