Premier League flops Fulham reportedly made a £9million bid for Celtic’s Scottish Premiership champion Boyata.

Dedryck Boyata’s time at Celtic appears to be coming to an end.
It is no secret that the Belgium international’s contract expires in the summer and it seems unlikely at this stage that he is going to commit his future to the runaway Scottish Premiership leaders.
According to Sportime, Olympiakos are eyeing up a bargain with Boyata soon to be available for free. But another club who have expressed an interest in the former Manchester City youngster could now be out of the race for good.
The Mail claimed in August last year that Fulham had seen a £9 million bid rejected. And with the Cottagers still crying out for defensive reinforcements, having conceded 76 goals in just 33 Premier League games this season, it seemed only a matter of time before they made a fresh approach for Boyata.

But the chances of the 28-year-old making the move to West London seems slim now. Fulham’s relegation was confirmed on Tuesday by a 4-1 thrashing at Watford, meaning they will be playing Championship football next season.
Boyata has got used to winning titles and playing in the Champions League at Celtic and he will be offered European football again at Olympiakos. So why on earth would he be willing to drop down to a second tier club?
There could be one potential suitor out of the race.
