Gelson Martins is the latest Sporting Lisbon star being linked with a move to the Premier League with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Barring a certain number seven, it seems that almost every member of Portugal’s World Cup squad has been linked with a move to Molineux in recent weeks.
Wolves are closing in on the quite remarkable signing of the 113-capped veteran Joao Moutinho to add to their already hefty Iberian contingent, which contains Ruben Neves, Diogo Jota, Ivan Cavaleiro, Ruben Vinagre and Portugal number one Rui Patricio.
Joao Mario, Andre Silva, Goncalo Guedes and Andre Gomes have also been linked with Jorge Mendes pulling the strings in the Black Country.
Now, so too is Gelson Martins. The Birmingham Mail has reported that Wolves have shown an interest in one of the most exciting and coveted wingers in European football, who looks set to bid farewell to Sporting Lisbon this summer.

Martins, blessed with rapid pace and impressive end product for a player so young, scored and assisted 16 goals in the Primeira Liga last season.
O Jogo claimed earlier in the summer that Martins had a release clause of £53 million in his contract amid interest from Arsenal. But, after terminating his contract (BBC), the 23-year-old could be snapped up for absolutely nothing.
No wonder the Wolves fans are excited.
