By the time the teams came out for the second half, Miranda was nowhere to be seen. The 27-year-old Portuguese had been hauled off for Benik Afobe as manager Nuno Espirito Santo switched his tactics.
And many Wolves fans believe that is the last they will see of Miranda in the famous amber shirt.
Joining from Rio Ave for around £2.5 million last June according to the Sun, the defender has been one of the few flops brought to the club since the end of last season.
He has never truly looked comfortable with the pace or power of the English game and has slipped down the pecking order in recent months with Conor Coady, Ryan Bennett and Willy Boly forming an almost impenetrable back three at times.
