Scottish Premiership champion Scott Sinclair has been tipped to leave Celtic for Championship play-off hopefuls Boro this summer.

After three trophy-laden years at Celtic, is Scott Sinclair heading back to England this summer?
The Sun reported on Wednesday that Middlesbrough are looking to sign the former Manchester City and Chelsea winger even if they miss out on promotion to the Premier League this season.
Celtic have responded by activating a 12-month extension clause in Sinclair’s contract to prevent him walking away for free in the summer, the Sun adds. But a move is still on the cards with Middlesbrough allegedly willing to pay £2 million.
On paper, this is exactly the sort of signing Boro are crying out for. Ask any Riverside regular and he will tell you that the 2018/19 season has been a chore with Tony Pulis’s typically pragmatic style hardly bringing Total Football to the North East.

Boro have scored just 47 times in 45 Championship games this season; even relegated Rotherham United have more to their name.
Sinclair, however, could bring some much needed speed, creativity and end product to Middlesbrough. He has netted 17 goals in another hugely successful season for Celtic, having tallied 18 and 25 in his two previous campaigns in Glasgow.
No wonder the fans are hopeful.
