Now, with the Championship title in the bag, Wolves will be playing Premier League football next season. But there is no guarantee that N’Diaye, who has played in the top flight with Sunderland and Hull City, will be sticking around.
AS reports that there was a clause in the 28-year-old’s contract meaning Wolves would have to sign him if he played enough games this season. That will not happen now, and it is interesting to note that Nuno Espirito Santo has started N’Diaye just twice in the last two months.

It was always likely that Wolves would need to be ruthless and upgrade a number of their players if they were to thrive in the Premier League next season. And N’Diaye, who has not exactly set the world alight in the second tier, could be one man in danger of the cull.
According to the Sun, the Black Country giants are willing to pay £20 million for Stoke City’s Joe Allen, a Welsh international who has proved himself as a Premier League quality midfielder.
And the Mail claims that Rio Ave’s Pele is another name in consideration. Wolves scouts watched the £9 million-rated Guinea-Bissau international score twice at the weekend and, interestingly, they tried to sign him back in 2016, too.
N’Diaye, then, could be a victim of Wolves’ success.
