Scottish Premiership giants Rangers seem unlikely to get much return on their £1.5 million investment on Eduardo Herrera.

Is Eduardo Herrera heading in the right direction again?
The Mexican striker will have been hoping to get his career back on track after scoring just two goals in 24 games at Rangers last season, especially when being given the chance to return to his homeland with a loan spell at Santos Laguna.
But after failing to score in each of his first five games back in the Liga MX at the start of the season, Herrera suddenly found himself well down the pecking order – not too dissimilar to the end of his spell at Ibrox.
Though after three-and-a-half months out of the team, Herrera has finally returned to action for Santos.

The big striker made his first appearance since August on Saturday, coming off the bench for the last 25 minutes, although he failed to inspire his side to a comeback as they slumped to a 2-0 defeat to Monterrey.
Rangers paid £1.5 million to sign Herrera from Pumas UNAM in the summer of 2017 (Daily Record) and it would be interesting to see how far his market value has fallen in the year-and-a-half since.
