Vedat Muriqi has been compared to Zlatan Ibrahimovic but could the Kosovan striker be on his way to the Premier League with Tottenham Hotspur?

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Fenerbahce goal-machine Vedat Muriqi, according to Sabah, after sending scouts to watch him in Saturday’s Euro 2020 qualifier against the Czech Republic.
It’s fair to say the 25-year-old has enjoyed a rapid rise to prominence over the last 12 months. Muriqi shot to fame with 17 goals in 36 games for Caykur Rizespor in 2018/19 and got his big break with a move to Fenerbahce over the summer.
And after just a matter of weeks with the Istanbul giants in which he’s already scored twice in three matches, Muriqi is catching the eye of clubs from some of Europe’s biggest leagues.
Sabah claims that Tottenham have taken an interest and watched the 21-time Kosovo international on Saturday alongside representatives from Serie A duo Napoli, Lazio Fiorentina.
Unsurprisingly, the prolific Muriqi found the net in a 2-1 win against the Czech Republic with the £3 million fee Fenerbahce paid for him in July looking more and more like a bargain as the weeks go by.

Standing at 6ft 4ins and with his sleek black hair pulled into a top knot, it is perhaps no surprise that Muriqi is starting to earn comparisons with a certain Zlatan Ibrahimovic while Czech Republic coach Jaroslav Silhavy took the time to rave about the increasingly irrepressible striker after Saturday’s clash.
“We couldn’t find a way to resist him,” Silhavy told Sporx. “It was almost unstoppable.”
