Tottenham Hotspur need additions and have been linked with Celtic’s Scottish Premiership champion Tierney and Red Bull Salzburg ace Haidara.

Celtic will travel to Austria this week and Tottenham Hotspur should be one team taking a real interest in their Europa League clash away at Red Bull Salzburg.
Why? Because a number of Spurs’ long-standing transfer targets are expected to feature at the Red Bull Arena.
Tottenham have been linked with Celtic’s rapid left-back Kieran Tierney for over a year now, with the Mirror claiming as recently as August that they were preparing a late £10 million bid to bring the Scotland international to North London.
With Ben Davies out of form and Danny Rose’s long-term Spurs career still uncertain, Pochettino should be keeping a close eye on Tierney again after the youngster’s outstanding start to this season.
France Football, meanwhile, claimed in June that Spurs made contact with the current Austrian Bundesliga champions about highly-rated young midfielder Amadou Haidara.

The 20-year-old Mali international scored eight goals and produced 10 assists in all competitions last season, helping Salzburg reach the semi-finals of the Europa League. Built in the mould of former Salzburg midfielder Naby Keita, Haidara is one of a number of midfielders tipped to replace Mousa Dembele at Tottenham.
With additions needed to freshen up Spurs’ squad, the Londoners should kill two birds with one stone and scout both Tierney and Haidara this week.
