Tottenham Hotspur are among the clubs reportedly interested in signing Hoffenheim’s Jeremy Toljan in the summer transfer window.
According to The Daily Mail, Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Jeremy Toljan from 1899 Hoffenheim in the summer transfer window.
It has been reported that Tottenham have enquired about the 22-year-old defender, with Spanish giants Real Madrid and German powerhouse Bayern Munich also claimed to be interested in the right-back.
According to Sky Sports, Hoffenheim value Toljan in the region of £13 million, which should certainly appear attractive to Spurs.
However, with bigger and richer clubs Madrid and Bayern (reportedly) interested in the right-back, the Premier League outfit do face competition.

Tottenham, though, do have an advantage – they can offer the youngster more chances of playing first-team football than Madrid or Bayern can.
Dani Carvajal is the first-choice right-back at Madrid, and although the sale of Danilo to Manchester City has open a spot in Zinedine Zindane’s squad, would Toljan really be happy to play second fiddle at this stage of his career to what is arguably the best player in that position?
Philipp Lahm’s retirement has left a hole in Bayern’s defence, but club CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has already stated that Joshua Kimmich will be the German legend’s successor at right-back, as reported by Suddeutsche Zeitung and translated by Bayernstrikes.com.
Rafinha is still at Bayern, and at 31, he has a few more years left in him to play at the highest level, which would mean more competition for Toljan.

The departure of Kyle Walker to Manchester City earlier in the summer transfer window means that Tottenham need to sign a right-back.
Kieran Trippier could be promoted to being the first-choice right-back next season, but the fact that he was the back-up for the past two seasons should encourage Toljan.
Toljan is supremely talented and could develop into one of the best right-backs in the world, and the German should not be worried about a little competition from the 26-year-old Trippier.
