Tottenham Hotspur reportedly saw KRC Genk star Sander Berge as Moussa Dembele’s replacement and the Premier League outfit still need reinforcements.

Norway have been the poor relations of Scandinavian football for far too long and things are about to change. So often overshadowed by Sweden, Denmark and now even Iceland, there’s a ‘golden generation’ emerging.
Martin Odegaard, Kristoffer Ajer, Erling Braut Haaland and Josh King are getting better all the time and, in Sander Berge, Norway have one of the most exciting young midfielders anywhere on the continent.
Standing at 6ft 4ins and cruising around the pitch like he was born to play Champions League football, it’s easy to forget Berge is just 21 years of age. But a fabulous display in Wednesday’s 0-0 draw with Napoli, completing 84 per cent of his passes and orchestrating things from the centre of the park, has once again brought him to the attention of the wider public.

Particularly Tottenham Hotspur fans who are still reeling after that 7-2 humiliation at home to Bayern Munich.
According to TEAMtalk, Spurs saw Berge as a potential long-term successor for Moussa Dembele and they are missing their departed Belgian more than ever these days. The Bayern thrashing shone a light the lack class, composure and combativeness that Dembele used to bring.
But after looking a cut above the rest against Napoli no less, Berge would be welcomed in North London with open arms.

Sander Berge is so good both on and off the ball. Would love to see Spurs sign him.
