Lucas Moura was the hero as Tottenham Hotspur reached the knockout rounds of the Champions League with a draw at La Liga champions Barca.

Danny Rose was something of a surprise selection as Tottenham Hotspur lined up for their make-or-break Champions League clash against Barcelona on Tuesday night.
Ben Davies has been Spurs’ number one left-back for the last 18 months or so, with Rose making just seven starts all season. But, included in the XI for the first time in a Champions League game, the 28-year-old repaid Mauricio Pochettino’s faith with interest.
Lucas Moura was the hero of the Camp Nou, scoring a vital equaliser from close range in the final few minutes to ensure that Tottenham progressed at the expense of Inter Milan, who were held at home to PSV and drop into the Europa League as a result.
But Rose was arguably Tottenham’s star man, producing his best performance for the North London giants since the 2016/17 season.

The England international was a rampant force down the left flank, causing Barca right-back Nelson Semedo no end of problems and providing a constant supply line for Spurs’ probing attackers.
No wonder the fans were thrilled with his performance. Rose was one of the main highlights on a night full of positives.
