Inter Milan are reportedly scouting Lyon’s Ligue 1 starlet Lucas Tousart but he is perfect for Tottenham Hotspur.

It has been well documented that Tottenham Hotspur could do with a new deep lying midfielder, particularly with Moussa Dembele set to receive a £200,000-a-week contract offer from Chinese outfit Beijing Guoan in January, as reported by the Mail. And Lucas Tousart certainly fits the bill.
The 21-year-old has gone from strength to strength since breaking into Lyon’s first-team in 2017/18 and has started five out of six Ligue 1 games so far this season at the base of Bruno Genesio’s midfield.
Calciomercato reported back in March that Spurs were interested. But latest claims from the same publication suggest that Mauricio Pochettino’s side are set for another battle with Inter Milan, who will scout Tousart in the coming weeks ahead of a potential £30 million bid in January
Inter stunned Spurs in their Champions League opener on Tuesday, scoring twice late on to win 2-1 at the San Siro. But Tottenham should not let the Italians celebrate another victory.

Tousart, a hard-working and technically gifted midfielder who should fit in perfectly under Pochettino, would prove a bargain at £30 million if he fulfils his huge potential.
With Dembele’s Spurs career seemingly winding down, Tousart could be the new face to freshen up a team that has stalled slightly at the start of this season.
