Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly hoping to bring Douglas Costa to the Premier League.

Tottenham Hotspur are keen to sign Douglas Costa from Juventus in the summer transfer window, according to Calciomercato.
The Brazilian speedster signed for Juve last summer for a fee of £35.8 million, according to the BBC, after spending the 2017/18 campaign on loan in Turin from Bayern Munich, producing 14 assists across all competitions.
Costa has failed to live up to those exalted standards in a difficult second season under Max Allegri, however, scoring one goal and grabbing two assists in 24 matches.
Despite this Calciomercato reports that Spurs are interested in offering the one-time Shakhtar Donetsk star a fresh start in North London in the summer.
Interestingly, the report suggests that a swap deal could be on the cards. If Spurs make an official approach, Juve sporting director Fabio Paritici could attempt to include contract rebel Christian Eriksen as part of a potential transfer.

This is not the first time that Tottenham have been linked with Costa, a player who’s explosive pace and outstanding crossing ability makes him one of the biggest natural talents in European football – even if consistency remains elusive.
The Mirror reported that Spurs were planning a £30 million bid in the summer of 2017 before Juventus won the race.
