Harry Redknapp is out of work and free to take Claude Puel’s place at Premier League outfit Leicester City.

Tony Cottee says Leicester City should consider appointing Harry Redknapp on a short-term basis until the end of the season, speaking to Sky Sports.
The Foxes find themselves without a manager at the start of this week after Claude Puel was put out of his misery on Sunday. The softly-spoken Frenchman never really bonded with players or supporters during his time at the King Power Stadium and he was handed his P45 in the aftermath of the disastrous 4-1 home defeat to Crystal Palace.
It remains to be seen who will replace Puel in the East Midlands. The Scottish Sun reports that Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers is a target, although Leicester will need to stump up £6 million.
They are interested in Rafa Benitez too but know that he is unlikely to walk out of Newcastle United in the middle of the season, as reported by the Mirror (25 February, page 45).
And former Foxes striker Cottee believes that veteran Redknapp would be a good appointment until the summer, giving Leicester time to weigh up their options.

“They just need to take their time and make sure they appoint the right manager,” said Cottee, who played for the club between 1997 and 2000.
“Maybe get someone in on an interim basis. Off the top of my head, someone like Harry Redknapp for example, someone who is a good, experienced manager that can get a few results.
“Then appoint a man for the future, at the end of the season.”
71-year-old Redknapp has a fine record in the Premier League but has been out of work since September 2017 and most recently appeared on our TV screens in a Bushtucker Trial, rather than a dugout.
