Premier League newcomers Wolverhampton Wanderers could have added Joao Caiado to their Portuguese contingent.

Wolverhampton Wanderers look set to sign the Belgian international Leander Dendoncker on transfer deadline day but the Belgian international is not the only new midfielder who could arrive at Molineux.
Primeira Liga outft CD Tondela have confirmed on their official website that the 19-year-old Joao Caiado will join the Premier League newcomers with a move having been agreed on Thursday.
So you can add the highly-rated teenager to the lengthening list of Portuguese players who call Wolverhampton their home. The Black Country side have already signed Joao Moutinho and Rui Patricio this summer, adding them to Ruben Neves, Ruben Vinagre, Helder Costa and Ivan Cavaleiro.
Unlike the aforementioned six, however, Caiado is more than likely set to ply his trade under Rob Edwards in the U23s next season rather than Nuno Espirito Santo’s first-team.

Since being taken over by Fosun International, Wolves have been working quietly to improve their youth ranks as well as spending heavily on the first-team. Youngsters Pedro Goncalves, Mason Gibbs-White and Ryan Giles have stood out in pre-season.
And The Mail (live blog, 10.34am) are also reporting that Wolves are set to sign left-back John Kitolano from Norweigian outfit Odd. He will join Caiado and co in the U23s.
