Premier League newcomers Wolverhampton Wanderers reportedly want to sign Michail Antonio from West Ham United.

Michail Antonio has been one of West Ham’s most impressive performers in an erratic three year spell for the London club.
But with The Hammers seemingly keen to leave the mediocrity of mid-table behind them by launching big money moves for some genuinely top class attacking talent like Felipe Anderson, Franco Vazquez and Alassane Plea, it seems that Antonio could be a victim of the club’s new found ambition.
Sky Sports (live blog, 5.39pm) understand that West Ham are willing to listen to offers for Antonio and would demand £15 million for his services. Such a fee would be merely a drop in the ocean for Wolves’ billionaire Chinese owners, however.
TEAMtalk have claimed that both Wolves and Newcastle United are keen on the former Nottingham Forest and Sheffield Wednesday winger. But while £15 million would stretch The Magpies’ budget to its limit, Wolves would surely have no difficulty affording such a fee.

But do the Black Country outfit even need to sign Antonio if they have Diogo Jota, Helder Costa and Ivan Cavaleiro already in the squad?
Well, the 28-year-old would give Nuno something the other three cannot – Premier League experience. Antonio at his best is a top quality attacker who was called up to the England squad just two years ago.
He could also fill in at right-wing back or centre-forward if required, while his aerial presence means he could thrive as a speedy, physical option through the middle.
