Everton signed David Henen from Olympiakos in 2015 but he has not made a single Premier League appearance for the Goodison Park club.

But in three years on Merseyside, the 21-year-old has not made a single first-team appearance for the club. In fact, Henen has only ever made 11 first team league appearances, all of those coming during a loan spell at Fleetwood Town during 2015/16.

The report claims that Henen’s contract is due to expire at the end of the season and he is not in Everton’s plans. The former Belgium U19 international, who played for Standard Liege and Anderlecht at youth level, is hopeful of relaunching his career with a return to his homeland.
Whether Henen received any offers, however, remains to be seen.

However, The Toffees did not receive a single bid and therefore appear to have missed their last chance to cash in.
Henen has played 15 times for Everton’s U23s this season, scoring four goals.
