Scottish Premiership leaders Celtic are due to come up against former Rangers loanee Hyndman as they travel to face Hibernian at Easter Road.

Rangers’ chances of breaking Celtic’s stranglehold on Scottish football appear to have slipped in recent weeks.
Steven Gerrard’s side have faltered after a promising start to the season and, although they are still second in the table, Brendan Rodgers’ Hoops are going from strength to strength, rolling over opponents with ease and scoring at an alarming rate.
With this in mind, Rangers will be hoping for a favour from one of their former favourites in this weekend’s round of fixtures.
Celtic travel to Easter Road to face a Hibernian side who have won just one of their last eight games and the Ibrox faithful need a helping hand from Emerson Hyndman, the American midfielder who spent time on loan at Ibrox in 2017.
Bournemouth-owned Hyndman is certainly going into the game full of confidence after coming off the bench to inspire Hibs’ narrow 1-0 success away at Hamilton last week.

“Emerson is a class player,” Hibs forward Oli Shaw, who scored the winner against Accies, told Herald Scotland. “The subs were important for us when they came on, they changed the game.”
Rangers fanatics will be praying that Hyndman can make a similar impact against a Celtic defence that could be susceptible to his creativity and intelligent dribbling skills.
If results go their way, Gerrard’s side could still end the weekend top of the table after all.
