Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United will make a daunting trip to face Premier League rivals Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux.
Manchester United midfielder Fred acknowledges that they face a tough test in tomorrow’s FA Cup clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers, while speaking to the club’s official website.
After a 2-0 defeat at Arsenal which brought an end to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s undefeated domestic record, United face a daunting trip to Molineux as they look to secure a place in the last four of a tournament they last won in 2016.
Wolves have a fine record against the Premier League’s big boys this season, beating Tottenham and Chelsea while sealing draws against Arsenal and Manchester City.
A goal from Joao Moutinho ensured the clash at Old Trafford in the Autumn ended 1-1.
And Fred is under no illusions that Wolves represent strong opposition for a Manchester United side aiming to end a tough season with a trophy.
“It’ll be a difficult match but it’ll be a good match,” said the former Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder, who scored his first United goal against Wolves in October.
“They’re a great team with very good players. But we’re well aware that it won’t be easy, so we’re ready for it. We know how hard it’s going to be, but we’ll be going for the win.”
United paid £52 million to bring Fred to England last summer, as reported by the Telegraph, and he has started the club’s last two games, impressing in that stunning Champions League win away at PSG.
