Championship title chasers Leeds United reportedly looked at SD Huesca star Alex Gallar in 2018 and he has impressed in La Liga.

Alex Gallar was tipped to follow in the footsteps of Samu Saiz a year ago.
According to Diario de Leon, Leeds United wanted to sign the gifted play-maker from Huesca, 12 months after Saiz made the same move.
To add to the irony, Gallar even replaced Saiz at the Spanish second tier outfit.
But the 26-year-old decided to stay where he was and you could hardly blame him. Huesca had just been promoted to La Liga for the first time after all.
While the Catalan club have struggled, stuck to the bottom of the table, Gallar has taken to the top flight like a duck to water.
Lining up on the right wing, the fleet-footed wide man might have just three goals and one assist to his name but that does not reflect his influence.

Only two players in La Liga have created more than his 2.8 chances per game this season – and one of those is a certain Lionel Messi. A skilful forward blessed with a superb dead-ball delivery and the odd wonder-goal in his locker, Gallar would surely be right at the top of the assist charts if his Huesca teammates were a little more clinical in front of goal.
With the summer transfer window looming large, and Leeds seemingly looking at a number of play-makers, could Gallar replace Saiz again?
