Just two days after being linked with Newcastle United, Strasbourg’s Kenny Lala found himself on the wrong side of the Monaco coach.

Strasborg star Kenny Lala has been in the news this weekend for two different reasons.
According to France Football, Newcastle United boss Rafa Benitez is keen to bring the impressive 27-year-old to England after some outstanding performances for the high-flying Ligue 1 outfit.
And, by Monday, Lala found himself at the centre of one of the biggest flash points to hit French football over the most recent round of fixtures.
You can understand why Thierry Henry would be annoyed as his relegation threatened Monaco side were dismantled and humiliated in front of their own supporters, losing 5-1 against Strasbourg in the Principality.
But the former Arsenal and Barcelona striker clearly crossed the line when he directed a foul-mouthed rant at Lala. The right-back, Henry believed, was guilty of time-wasting.

“Yes, I regret these words,” Henry told Sky Sports afterwards.
“I just reacted, I’m sorry, yes, but I’m only human.”
On a more positive note, this was another eye-catching performance from Lala, whose form has seen him tipped for a shock call-up to the France national team.
The former Lens and Valenciennes defender has produced seven assists in all competitions this season and could conceivably be seen as an upgrade on DeAndre Yedlin and Javi Manquillo at St James’ Park.
