Yannick Bolasie’s time in the Premier League looks over with Marco Silva’s Everton farming him out to Europa League challengers Sporting CP.

Everton loanee Yannick Bolasie was the ‘hero’ for Sporting Lisbon on Thursday night after he netted a Europa League winner against Rosenborg, manager Silas has told O Jogo.
Bolasie had not scored for the Lisbon giants until the Norwegians arrived at the Estadio Jose Alvalade but, with around quarter of an hour left on the clock, he finally opened his account at the seventh time of asking with a deflected header which flashed past the Rosenborg keeper.
A 1-0 wins means Sporting are in control of their Europa League group, picking up six points from a possible nine, and new coach Silas was thrilled to see the summer signing make the difference when it mattered.
“What the mister wants is a competitive team, playing as a team,” said the former Belenenses coach, speaking for some reason in the third person.

“Today Yannick scored the goal, he was the hero.”
According to Record, Sporting Lisbon have the option to sign Bolasie permanently next year for just £4 million. This means Everton could be set to make a staggering £24 million loss on a winger they bought for huge money from Crystal Palace three years ago.
More match-winning displays like this and £4 million will start to look a snip for a player who is relishing a fresh start.
