Harvey Barnes was the only West Bromwich Albion player recognised by the EFL after the 4-1 battering of Leeds United at The Hawthorns.

West Bromwich Albion not only beat the Championship title favourites on Saturday, they battered them.
A thrilling second-half display at The Hawthorns left Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds United shell-shocked, losing 4-1 against a Baggies side who found form again in sensational fashion in arguably the most high-profile game of the weekend.
So you could justifiably expect more than one West Brom player to be included in the official EFL Team of the Week. Harvey Barnes, scorer of the third goal against Leeds, got the nod, but that was it.
Matt Phillips, Hal Robson-Kanu and Dwight Gayle were all on the score sheet on Saturday, but the EFL have decided to plump for the likes of Kamil Grosicki, Jordan Hugill and Teemu Pukki instead, although their contributions during the weekend’s action cannot be underestimated.

West Brom fans will not care if they continue to fly under the radar, however, if Darren Moore’s side can put together a run of results and hunt down Norwich City at the top of the Championship.
They are the top scorers in the Football League right now, so there will be plenty more chances for Dwight Gayle, Matt Phillips and co to catch the eye.
