Has Eduardo Herrera just hinted that he is staying at Rangers or that he is on his way out of the Scottish Premiership?

What did Eduardo Herrera mean with his emotional Instagram post on Monday?
Was this a hint that Herrera, a £1.5 million signing from Pumas UNAM last summer, would be handed a second chance at Rangers, a clean slate with Steven Gerrard now taking over as manager and ushering in a new era?

Alas, probably not. In the eyes of Rangers fans, Herrera seems to have confirmed that his time in Scottish football is over.
The Mexican international striker has been linked with a return to his homeland on a regular basis in recent weeks, Goal reporting that Pumas were considering bringing Herrera back after losing their two top strikers earlier in the summer.

And, when the inevitable does happen and Herrera bids farewell, it’s fair to say he probably won’t be missed despite remaining popular with some sections of the support for his commendable attitude and passion for the Scottish life.
In total, the 29-year-old scored just twice in 24 appearances for the Gers and did not feature in a signal game after the 6-1 Scottish Cup thrashing of Ayr United back in February. That looks like being Herrera’s last outing in a Rangers shirt.
