Salomon Rondon looks set to leave West Bromwich Albion but will he return to the Premier League with Newcastle United this summer?

Salomon Rondon has been linked with a whole host of Premier League clubs since West Brom’s relegation from the top flight.
But despite a very affordable release clause standing at just £16 million, the Venezuelan target man still hasn’t found a new home just yet. Though Rondon will surely be on his way out of the Hawthorns eventually.

Turkish publication TRT Spor claim that Besiktas are one of the continental clubs keen on Rondon. The Super Lig side have been on the lookout for a new centre-forward for some time now with the likes of Daniel Sturridge and Alfredo Morelos linked too.
Rondon scored just 24 Premier League goals in 108 games for West Brom but has the strength and aerial ability to replace the departing Alvaro Negredo at Besiktas.

In England, Newcastle United are the side who have perhaps been most closely linked of late.
