West Ham United are understood to be keen on signing Lukasz Fabianski from relegated Premier League outfit Swansea City.

Lukasz Fabianski of Swansea City cries as he leaves the pitch during the Premier League match between Swansea City and Stoke City at Liberty Stadium on May 13, 2018 in Swansea, Wales.

Lukasz Fabianski has been heavily linked with a move to West Ham in recent days and the Swansea City ace has now given weight to the rumours.

The 33-year-old Polish international is understood to have informed Swansea that he wants to leave this summer after they were relegated from the Premier League last season.

And, according to Football London, West Ham are closing in on a move for the former Arsenal ‘keeper, having made a new and improved bid of £7 million. It is understood that personal terms will pose little obstacle to Fabianski’s impending return to the capital.

Now, speaking to Polish outlet, Przeglad Sportowy, Fabianski has dropped a huge hint about his potential move to the London Stadium.

“Let’s wait for a while, but I will not lie, there is something in it,” Fabianski admitted.

“My club matters are crystallising right now, but I do not know when everything will be clear. I am waiting patiently.”

Fabianski is currently in Russia for the World Cup with Poland, where he is expected to provide back-up to Juventus shot-stopper Wojciech Szczesny.

The veteran ‘keeper was arguably Swansea’s best player in a dismal 2017/18 season, producing a number of virtuoso performances to keep the South Wales side alive and kicking for longer than they perhaps should have been.

Football London, however, reports that Fabianski is not guaranteed to be number one at West Ham, suggesting that he could be joined by another new goalkeeper.
