There is barely a club in Europe that has not been credited with an interest in Henry Onyekuru and Swansea City are the latest on the list.

Since Scottish treble-winners Celtic had a tentative £1 million bid turned down by the Belgian club in January (Daily Record), the 19-year-old striker has gone from strength to strength and has apparently piqued the interest of almost every club in the Premier League.
Now the Daily Mail claim that Eupen would be willing to sell for £6.8 million. And though that may seem an excessive sum for a player with only two seasons of senior football under his belt, his remarkable statistics alone are enough to get scouts sweating.
Onyekuru has hit 24 goals and produced 14 assists in a simply unbelievable individual campaign, earning a nomination for the Belgian league’s Player of the Year award.
Therefore, it is needless to say that Swansea should jump at the chance to bring Onyekuru to the Liberty Stadium. After all, the Nigerian appears a world-class forward in-waiting and his representative, Mark McKay, appears to have a good relationship with the Swans.
He helped bring Ayew brothers Andre and Jordan to Wales, after all.

Onyekuru may be worth £6.8 million now but, if he continues on his current trajectory, his fee could be tripled or even quadrupled in a year’s time.
