Championship title chasers Leeds United remain interested in signing Swansea City winger Daniel James, who shone against Manchester City in the FA Cup.

Swansea City manager Graham Potter has suggested that Leeds United target Daniel James tripled his price-tag during the thrilling FA Cup quarter-final clash with Manchester City on Saturday, as reported by the Daily Star.
Leeds were on the verge of signing the jet-heeled winger for around £10 million on the final day of the January transfer window, as reported by TEAMtalk, only for the Swans to back out of the deal at the eleventh hour.
The Whites are expected to renew their interest in James come the summer, according to the Mirror, and they will have been very impressed as the Welshman ran City’s defence ragged at the Liberty Stadium.
James was a bundle of energy and speed as Swansea raced into a two-goal lead against the Premier League champions, only to suffer a dramatic and controversial defeat as Sergio Aguero inspired a stunning turnaround.

After the game, Wales legend John Hartson claimed that James could be worth around £20 million now. But Potter thinks his prize asset might cost even more in today’s market.
“Absolutely, why not? And treble!” said the former Ostersunds boss when asked whether James’ performance has increased his £10 million price-tag.
£10 million looked a little rich for Leeds. £20 million or even £30 million, however, would probably rule them out for good.
