Left-back Morgan Fox could reportedly leave Championship high-flyers Sheffield Wednesday for League One Sunderland.

Sunderland are allegedly keen to sign Morgan Fox before the transfer window shuts at the end of the month, with the Northern Echo claiming that the Black Cats are set to make a second bid for his services this week.
And it seems that a few Sheffield Wednesday fans would be more than happy to personally chauffeur him to Wearside.
Seemingly unimpressed by the 25-year-old’s performances, Fox was booed by some sections of the Hillsborough crowd during last week’s narrow 1-0 win against Luton Town, and this isn’t the first time he has been singled out by the Owls faithful.
No wonder the defender feels he has a point to prove.
“It (the boos) is what it is. It is their opinion but I am fighting for the team and always give my all. I know I am good enough to play football here and hopefully I prove that,” Fox told the Star, holding his head high.
“It is part of football. You have to be tough skinned. Of course, they (the fans) pay their money to come and watch us and are entitled to their opinion.
“I am going to carry on doing my bit for the team and putting my body on the line. I will always give 100 per cent.”

But with the critics making their voices head, maybe it’s the right time for all parties to go their separate ways.
If Fox is a divisive figure in the Steel City, he’d certainly be well received by the Sunderland fans with the Black Cats crying out for a new left-back.
Denver Hume (below), a young academy graduate, has struggled in the opening weeks of the new season while Conor McLaughlin is far more comfortable on the right-hand side, even if he has performed commendably out of position.
