Is Martin Samuelsen facing his last chance to impress West Ham United during his loan spell with VVV Venlo.

How many more chances does Martin Samuelsen have at West Ham United?
The 21-year-old has been contracted to the Hammers since 2015 but is still yet to make a single Premier League appearance for the club. In that time, he has had loan spells at Peterborough, Blackburn and Burton Albion but, to be honest, has not really made enough of an impression at either of those lower league clubs.
And his latest temporary spell, in Holland with VVV Venlo, is yet to really get going either.
Samuelsen has featured in all four of VVV’s Eredivisie games so far in 2018/19 but he has been on the fringes of the action.

And he was subbed at half time in the 1-1 home draw with Heerenveen on Sunday. To make matters worse, his replacement Patrick Joosten went on to score a well-taken equaliser in the second 45.
Samuelsen managed just 29 touches of the ball in the first half, posting a poor pass accuracy of 64 per cent while failing to open up the visitors’ defence from his attacking midfield position.
The former Manchester City man is no longer an academy prospect. Now is the time for him to kick on if he is to make the grade at West Ham.
