Tottenham Hotspur allegedly want to lure Benjamin Pavard to the Premier League but Bundesliga side Stuttgart are desperate to keep him.

Stuttgart would struggle to make it any clearer that they do not want to sell the France international centre-back Benjamin Pavard in the summer transfer window.
The 21-year-old has emerged as one of the most exciting young defensive talents in European football in his debut Bundesliga season, impressing in a wide variety of defensive positions and being named the league’s Rookie of the Month for February by fans.
And amid interest from Premier League duo Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool, sporting executive Michael Reschke has stated that Stuttgart are determined to keep Pavard at the Mercedes Benz Arena – and would not even sell for around £30 million, as reported by BILD.

This is far more than the £11 million bid Spurs were planning, according to the Sun.
But rather than put Tottenham and Liverpool off, Reschke’s comments explain why they should continue with their attempts to sign Pavard in the summer transfer window.
After all, Reschke has pretty much confirmed just how talented the former Lille youngster is by saying they do not want to sell at any price; it is the sort of approach a club would only take when they are dealing with an elite talent.

And both Spurs and Liverpool could do with as many talented defenders as they can get. Despite the signing of Virgil van Dijk, Jurgen Klopp’s Reds are still lacking a top notch centre-back partner for the Dutchman while Spurs look set to lose Toby Alderweireld in the near future.
And, regardless of Reschke’s claims, every player has their price and no doubt Pavard’s is still within budget for Tottenham and Liverpool.
