James McClean is a fan of Scottish Premiership champions Celtic – but will he ever get his dream move?

James McClean has never hid his admiration for Celtic Football Club.
The Republic of Ireland international is a boyhood Hoops fanatic and once again reiterated his desire to pull on those green and white stripes before he retires.
“That’s always been the dream. Unfortunately that’s not up to me. If it was up to me it would have happened a long time ago,” the 29-year-old winger told Celtic TV back in May.
“Who knows? Fingers crossed. Maybe one day.”
And McClean has now taken to Instagram to post a photograph of himself, surrounded by his family and wearing that famous Celtic jersey.
The former Sunderland and West Bromwich Albion winger is now at Stoke City and has started nine Championship games under Gary Rowett since moving to the Potteries.
Unfortunately, however, the focus of late has centred on McClean’s political views rather than his footballing ability with the annual Poppy row raising it’s ugly head.
McClean came off the bench in Stoke’s goalless draw at home to Middlesbrough on Saturday and the visiting fans once again made their feelings very clear.
