Wolverhampton Wanderers reportedly want to bring Moritz Bauer back to the Premier League from Championship strugglers Stoke City.

It is no secret that Nuno Espirito Santo wants a new centre-forward at Wolverhampton Wanderers but it seems that a right-back would be welcome too.
According to Sky Sports, Wolves are looking for a player capable of providing competition for Matt Doherty, who has started every one of their 22 Premier League games since promotion.
And it is understood that the Black Country giants are in talks with Stoke City about signing the Austrian international Mortiz Bauer on loan until the end of the season.
Bauer, a £4 million signing from Rubin Kazan 12 months ago, only made three Championship appearances in the first half of the season after falling out of favour under Gary Rowett at the Bet365 Stadium.
But with Rowett gone and Nathan Jones in at Stoke, it seems that the 26-year-old could be offered a fresh start. Speaking to the Sentinal, former Luton Town boss Jones has made it clear that he wants to keep Bauer in the Potteries.

“Moritz is part of what we do here. I’m excited to work with the player. He’s the type of full back that we like, so there’s no story there.”
Bauer was included in the match day squad for the first time since October as Stoke lost 3-1 at Brentford in Jones’ first game in charge on Saturday.
Stoke will surely be keen to back their new boss during the January transfer window so the chances of them letting Bauer join Wolves look slim.
