Jack Grealish has been so impressive in the Championship for Aston Villa that Premier League Leicester City would pay £20m for him.

Jack Grealish is enjoying his best run of form for Aston Villa since exploding onto the scene back in the latter stages of the 2015/16 season and Leicester City have taken note.

According to The Mirror, The Foxes are willing to pay £20 million to sign the red-hot playmaker this summer and use him as a number 10 behind the quicksilver centre-forward Jamie Vardy.

But it seems that Grealish won’t be swapping Villa Park for the King Power Stadium.

The Birmingham Mail states that the boyhood Aston Villa fan is happy with life under Steve Bruce and, after finally showing signs of fulfilling his vast potential and nailing down a place in the first-team, is keen to wear claret and blue next season regardless of whether the club miss out on promotion to the Premier League.

And Bruce will be more than happy to hear that, because, while previous Villa managers Remi Garde and Roberto Di Matteo appeared to treat Grealish with suspicion, the 22-year-old has emerged as arguably his stand-out performer since the turn of the year.

“We are Aston Villa and he is an Aston Villa fan but of course he wants to play in the big league, everyone does, so if we can get there for all the players, that’s where we all want to be,” Bruce, who values Grealish at double his reported £20 million price-tag, told the Birmingham Mail.

“Jack could play in any team. He is as good a talent as I have had over my management years.”

That is quite a statement from a manager who worked with Christophe Dugarry at Birmingham City, the former Barcelona and France striker who Bruce claimed last year was the best player he had ever coached.
